Empowering Tools for Personal Growth
Empowerment means 'to invest with power or authority'. When we self-empower, it means we give power to the self; we authorize our self to take control. Thus, self-empowerment is the power of the individual. By empowering our self, we become experts about what we need to take care of our self in every area of our life. We take responsibility and don't expect others to make decisions for us.
If you are new to the subject of empowerment, you may recognize that you have been abdicating your power and wish to remedy that situation, but you have no idea where to begin! When we have given away our power for most of our life, it can seem an overwhelming task to take it back. It is best to focus on one area at a time - starting with the ones that are causing the greatest challenge. EFT in particular has proven to be one of the tools that assisted me the most when it came to determining where I should begin.
